Sentinel has revolutionised the domestic water treatment market by creating a new dosing system designed to make water treatment easier and less expensive. The canister format packaging now means that systems can be treated quicker, easier and with less mess. Sentinel Rapid-Dose is a recyclable, pressurised canister pre-filled with inhibitor (or cleaner) that can be used to dose any indirect central heating system within seconds.
Sentinel Rapid-Dose works by holding the product formulation in a bag inside the the canister and is decanted from the can by means of compressed air, which is separate to the bag and never leaves the canister. The compressed air simply acts as a propellant helping to rapidly discharge the product directly into the system.
Simply connect the canister to the filling loop isolation valve (or a radiator) using a purpose designed Sentinel Rapid-Dose connector and the canister will instantly discharge itself.
Generally, Sentinel Rapid-Dose discharges into a system within approx. 30 seconds.
Generally, there is no need to release the system pressure or even to draw off water. It is only necessary to release the pressure when it exceeds 2.3 bar.
Sentinel Rapid-Dose is currently available in the following formats; X100 Central Heating Inhibitor & Cleaner; X200 Noise Reducer; X400 System Sludge Remover & Cleaner; Leak Sealer. Please refer to product sections for further details.
