Sentinel Seal X Joint & Leak Sealer, which is applied externally, is a one component, ready to use, silicone sealant. It can be applied to screwed fittings, compression joints and gaskets to form a water and air tight seal. A well pasted cloth may be bound around burst and leaking pipes to form a temporary repair.

Instructions for use

  1. Relieve water pressure until curing is complete.
  2. Ensure that surfaces are free of rust, grease, oil, release agents, dust, dirt, old sealants and other contaminants which could impair adhesion.
  3. Apply product from tube, and replace cap immediately. Complete 'tooling' within 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Curing time depends on the thickness applied, and the humidity. Spraying with water assists curing.
