Sentinel receives Chartership from The CIPHE

The latest business to sign-up to the Expect to See charter from the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering is Sentinel Performance Solutions Group.

The charter represents a formal agreement by Sentinel to follow a code of practice promoted by the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering.

These are:
• Promote the use of professional plumbing and heating engineers in customer literature.
• Expect technical members of staff to be members of CIPHE at the level appropriate to their qualifications.
• Expect to use professionally qualified CIPHE members when seeking to have products and services supplied to customers.
• Ask for membership or qualifications leading to membership for new recruits into technical roles relevant to the scope of CIPHE.

CIPHE Chief Executive and Secretary Blane Judd introduced the charter as part of an ongoing campaign to drive up professional standards within the plumbing and heating industry to protect the safety and health of the public and the environment.

Other CIPHE Expect to See Charter holders exhibiting at Installer Live are Plumb Centre, Grundfos Pumps, Ideal Standard and Plumfix.

About the CIPHE

The Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) is the professional body and voluntary regulatory body for the UK plumbing and heating industry.
